Asset Forfeiture

Sponsored by a long list of both Republicans and Democracts HB-1995 would prohibit civil forfeitures of property unless the owner has been convicted of a crime.

Medical Marijuana

SSB-5176 would clarify what a "60-day supply" of marijauana is for medical marijuana patients as provided for under the medical marijuana initiative.

Drug Treatment

Providing treatment for drug addiction saves money and opiate subsitution treatment programs are effective for heroin addiction. Yet current restrictions allow only a limited number of addicts have access to treatment. SB-5417 would allow expand treatment programs statewide.
